Training clinicians to deliver supervision to professionals who are trained and providing Video Interactive Guidance( VIG) an psychological intervention will contribute to services achieving all three ambitions. Currently there are a number of professionals who are trained to carry out the intervention but do not have adequate or recommended supervision which is essential in carrying out a safe and supportive intervention with women and their babies. The objective is to build up the number of accredited VIG practitioners within the current workforce and for women to be able access VIG London wide from appropriately Supervised practitioners. The provision of VIG to women is fully supported by NICE guidance and is a recommended training in the Health Education England (HEE) Perinatal Training Directory.
