Ofwat has created a framework that will have a maximum duration of three years. Lot 1 Process Improvement Leads to support a variety of discrete Business Improvement projects across the organisation. The successful Business Improvement Expert has been added onto a procurement framework which will utilise two routes to market, either by Mini-Competition or Direct Award, for each discrete Business Improvement project. - Lot 1 Mandatory skillset required for Process Improvement Lead: - Must be able to identify and improve business process, from data collation and analysis through to suggestions and implementations. - Stakeholder Engagement skillset required to conduct interviews, and engage with enthusiasm to bring people with you on the change process.  Able to utilise a range of data gathering techniques to discover volumes of work, query types, turnaround times and similar. Analyse and deliver data trends to consider resourcing and possible SLAs and suggest success measures.  Ability to map out processes to identify current and future state processes maps, tracking the value stream and work towards a single point of contact for processes.  Facilitation expertise required to run problem solving exploration sessions and workshops, such as Design Thinking techniques or similar.  Able to gain agreement and ownership on how each process needs to work by understanding the requirements and the most effective way to operate, enabling supporting functions to understand end-to-end processes and support sustainable solutions.  Change Management understanding to help people through the process improvement change implications, considering communication milestones with stakeholders in project planning.
