As part of their religious beliefs it is very important that members of the Derby Muslim community are interred in accordance with very specific burial requirements, and for this reason, single interment burial chambers, equipped with multi-part lids, have become the norm in Derby cemeteries. As part of cultural requirements for certain Italian families within the community it has also been agreed that family above ground mausolea can be erected at Nottingham Road Cemetery. The contract is anticipated to start on 01st June 2021 with a 3 year initial term and the option to extend for a further 2 years in annual increments. The estimated value is based on the full 5 years. The value is based on the full 5 year period.
