In particular, assess whether the report addresses adequately the instructions given to the external/ inhouse clinical expert by the GDC and if the opinion provided is reasonable and what would be expected. The number of cases/reports required is currently estimated at 40 per year over a period of a potential 4 years. The expert assigned to this role should have at least 5 years experience as a practicing dentist and should have the skills to review and present their findings concisely and to a satisfactory standard. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
