The Consortium's key objectives for the project are: o To provide continuity of service to members as the existing contract comes to an end. o To meet the emerging requirements for Network Services. o To use the capital investment to stimulate a wider market interest and commitment to deploying gigabit capable fibre infrastructure that would also benefit residents, communities and businesses across the current Link geography. o To build a consortium of public sector organisations that can scale across the South East of England to provide a joined up and single sourcing route for the wider public sector, e.g. schools, health and blue light. o To deliver Social Value and Societal Benefits to the South East Grid consortium. Any social value delivered must be delivered within the region (i.e. County, City, Borough or District) placing the call off contract.
