Any such vacated properties are termed 'void' and often require various clearing and cleaning services performed to their interiors and exteriors prior to them being re-let. There may also be occasions when services are needed for void properties for outright sale. When a property becomes void a WDH officer normally visits the property to undertake an inspection in order to determine the extent of works and services required.
