As with the majority of other DoLS Teams nationally, SBC's demand for DoLS assessments exceeds the Teams current capacity. We are seeking to contract with an agency to provide Best Interests Assessors (BIAs) only to complete relevant face-to-face assessments under the DoLS legal framework in the Swindon and Wiltshire geographical areas. This will include the mental capacity, age, no refusals and best interests assessments (completion of the full Form 3).
