The Council is therefore seeking to establish a contract for the collection and destruction of this waste. The scope of the contract is within the borough of Oldham, across various sites with the main being the Civic Centre in Oldham town centre. The Contractor must provide a service for both types of receptacles; consoles (of which the contents are shredded on site); and confidential waste bins which are collected and replaced on a regular basis.
