North Tyneside Council now seeks competitive tenders from lift contractors intending to award a framework contract with 3 suppliers appointed to the framework and structured as follows: - ### Lift Maintenance, Repairs and Servicing - To appoint a single contractor to undertake all maintenance, repairs and servicing in respect of all the vertical transport installations ### Refurbishments - Annual Value £200K The successful contractor may be awarded at the discretion of the employer, refurbishment contracts up to a value of £50K (Per Lift or Building) over the set term period of the contract. If the value exceeds £50k (Per Lift or Building) the Authority will issue a mini competition via the NEPO Portal to all 3 suppliers on the framework. Tenderers must be a current registered member of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) to apply for this contract.
