We would now like to consolidate our contracts and have one Fire alarm servicing and maintenance company which will manage our entire housing stock. Contractors are asked to provide a percentage variation to National Housing Federation Schedule of Rates. The contract will include the servicing & maintenance of all communal fire detection, fire-fighting equipment, sprinklers, dry risers and fire signage under an agreed annual servicing agreement. In addition, prices will be sought for weekly fire alarm testing and emergency lighting servicing & monthly emergency lighting functional testing, these services are currently carried out by VIVID staff, but we may look to outsource them to the successful contractor following tender evaluation if it provides best value for money. The prospective contractor will also be expected to price requests for VIVID as a result of an action from a Fire Risk Assessment.
