The facility intends to expand its services to include the following imaging equipment detailed below. A large-scale high density (HD) complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) multi-electrode array (MEA) system with 3D pillar electrodes is required to record from neuronal preparations in vitro. The system is required to record from neurones in the depth of the tissue (below the surface where they are often damaged by the slicing process).
