The Council is seeking to identify a suitable agency to operate the Alternative Education Service within the Borough from 1 September 2021. The aim of the Service is to support students who are subject of an Education, Health and Care Plan with a well-supported and nurturing environment to deliver therapeutic interventions. Students may not be attending full-time provision and will need to be supported to help reintegrate them into full-time provision following a period of therapeutic intervention. Further details of the service required are detailed in the specification in this document. The contract is for a 2 year period from 1 September 2021 to 31 July 2023 with the option to extend for 2 further 12 month periods subject to provision of budget. The maximum budget for the delivery of the service is £40,000 per annum. Tenders received in excess of this will not be considered.
