This support covers, benefits, further education, housing, access to health for people with learning disabilities, concerns about services the person they care for is receiving and issues relating to carers own health and wellbeing. The service supports families whose son/daughter are transitioning from children's services into adult services ensuring continuity of support for parent carers who will be lifelong carers. The service identifies training options. The service also ensures that parents expertise is used in the ongoing development of local services.
