This includes establishing the current baseline costs, future estimates regarding cost path trajectories, cost breakdowns and technical lifetimes. With smart energy systems and dynamic pricing, thermal stores may be increasingly installed alongside heating systems, so this work will also explore the cost, prevalence and rationales for these.
