In addition to the school age pupils, a need was identified for Nursery provision, which is included in the proposed scheme. Cornwall Council and the MWJV have submitted a planning application for the scheme as PA20/10791 [planning.cornwall.gov.uk](https://planning.cornwall.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?keyVal=QKTHLGFGM4O00&activeTab=summary) The Council seeks to appoint a suitably accredited and demonstrably experienced Principal Contractor to undertake the design and construction of the Shortlanesend School - Basic Need Expansion under an NEC 3 Engineering & Construction Contract (Option A) with secondary options and z clauses as set out in the procurement documents. The construction works shall comprise of site works including site access, earthworks, enabling works, statutory services connections to existing, landscaping and drainage.
