The site must be well secured by use of appropriate fencing during and at the end of the contract. The contract will be for a duration of 12 weeks commencing 10th January 2022. The contract will be awarded to a single supplier. The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest. Site Visits: It is recommended that potential suppliers may wish to undertake a site visit to ascertain the existing conditions that could affect the demolition process and make sure that their tender price is sufficient to carry out the project safely. It is however a recommendation not a condition of the tender, therefore and if a potential supplier wishes to visit the site then they should read the following information and act on it accordingly. Open day have been assigned to view the site and buildings which will take place on Wednesday 20th October 2021 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. Contractors who wish to view the site must register their intentions by the correspondence function on the Council's Intend Portal by 4pm - Monday 18th October 2021. A time slot will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis and the potential supplier's representatives must not arrive before their pre-selected time allocation. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER OPPORTUNITY TO INTERNALLY INSPECT THE SITE. A maximum of three persons per potential supplier will be allowed to enter the building and must adhere to all government guidelines including social distancing and the current Site Operating Procedures. The maximum time allocated is 20 minutes inside the building. The potential supplier's representatives will be required to sign in and provide contact details (mobile numbers) whilst on site.
