Currently, eligible staff are provided with Hyundai IX35 vehicles (purchased in 2014) that are approaching the end of their operational life. The purpose of this RFQ is to seek quotes for a replacement vehicle that will continue to meet their needs as operational staff. The replacement vehicles will be subject to a blue light conversion that includes the installation of sirens, lighting and communication equipment. The Council is looking for a 'turn-key' solution with the winning bidder expected to coordinate this element using sub-contractors or their own internal supply chain. The goods under the contract are described in detail in Attachment 02 the Specification.
