This entitles and enable us to add licenses for desktop and server applications. The ESA also allows us to credit our azure subscription with a financial commitment for Azure hosted services. The advice from Microsoft was to under allocate these credits and top up when needed. We are moving services over to the Azure cloud platform as part of the I&T Cloud first strategy in line with the DfT Digital Strategy.
