The redevelopment is part of a wider programme of regeneration taking place across key parts of the town centre, including public realm improvements that aim to improve public spaces, help revitalise the centre and encourage private sector investment. Grimsby was one of five projects across England to receive funding and support via Arts Council England's Cultural Development Fund.
