Part of our obligation is to arrange and pay for the valuations that need to take place so the tenant can decide if they wish to proceed with the purchase of the property. As such, valuations must be undertaken by an external valuer independent of the Council or the tenant exercising their Right to Buy option. The Council is seeking an independent valuer to carry out Right to Buy valuations.
