All tender information MUST be submitted through the Delta eSourcing Portal. ### Brief Description of Requirement UK Research and Innovation has a requirement to establish a contract for a single Contractor to provide Landscaping and Ground Maintenance Services at Daresbury Laboratory (DL). A brief overview of the requirements has been provided below, however for full details please ensure you review all additional appendices of this requirement. ### Routine Services The following Routine Services are required: • Mowing of fine grass - cut and collect • Mowing of coarse grass - cut and let fly • Mowing of field grass - rough cut • Weed and moss control and fertilising of grassed areas • Litter clearance from hard landscaping including pedestrian areas, car parks, bin stores, storage areas • Clearing leaves from rainwater gullies • Hedge trimming • Shrub pruning and cutting back • Hoeing and forking of bedding areas • Weed and moss control to hard landscaping • Bark mulching of bedding areas • Maintaining sapling/semi mature tree growth, removing lower growth ### Additional Services The following Additional Services may be required: • Snow and ice clearance • Graffiti removal • Tree surgery The Contract duration shall be for a period of two years with optional extension of one- year period from commencement of the Contract (2+1).
