The supplier will be required to supply suitable containers to meet individual site requirements, hold a Waste Carrier's Licence and conform to relevant legislation and codes of practice. Suppliers will be responsible for identifying suitable recycling / disposal locations which should be located within an appropriate distance of Scottish Water sites whenever possible to reduce the carbon impact. Suppliers will be required to comply with Scottish Water's Scrap Metal Policy and agree a method of measurement for the income from recycling scrap metal which will be reimbursed to Scottish Water.
