The Coroner's service is a statutory service that must be provided for the City of London but can be provided at suitable premises elsewhere with the Senior Coroner's approval. In exercise of the legal power to provide such a service, the City of London Corporation (the City) requires that the appointed contractor that service on behalf of the City for a three year period commencing 1st September 2019 and ending on the 31st August 2022, with the possibility of a further two year extension until 31st August 2025.
