DfT plan and invest in transport infrastructure to keep the UK on the move. The Department has a vision for a transport system that is an engine for economic growth, but is also greener, safer and a contributor to improved quality of life in our communities. One of the Departments' objectives is to develop a strategy to decarbonise transport and minimise more generally transport's impact on the environment. The Department for Transport wishes to set up a contract for the provision of a targeted feasibility study to underpin the development of a third Advanced Biofuels Demonstration Competition, the follow up to the existing Advanced Biofuel Demonstration Competition (ABDC) and Future Fuels for Flight and Freight Competition (F4C).
