Tameside Council supports the Prosperous Network and would be the legal entity procuring the concessionary contract provider. The event is held annually in October. 250-300 seats are sold for the awards which generates funds to hold the event. The sale of seats is closely linked to award nominated businesses. The commercial nature of the event in generating entries, ticket sales, sponsors and running the industry standard event needs to be undertaken by a specialist provider. The event starts with a zero budget and currently operates on profit share between a company called Tame Valley Regeneration Consortium Ltd and the existing provider Don't Panic Events. The Council would look to run a similar model with a profit share over a set amount (dictated by market).
