[More contracts for small businesses and VCSEs](/opportunities/for-small-businesses)## About this tender Efficiency East Midlands (EEM Ltd) is a procurement consortium which establishes and manages a range of framework agreements and dynamic purchasing systems. Our members include social housing providers, local authorities, universities, academy trusts, NHS trusts and regional police forces. EEM procured and entered into a framework agreement with multiple contractors for the provision of drainage services. This framework was tendered and awarded based on the following lots: - Lot 1Drainage Services (Midlands) - Lot 2Drainage Services (South West) - Lot 3Drainage Services (London and the South East) - Lot 4Drainage Services (National Coverage) Contractors appointed to the framework and any subsequent call off contracts will be responsible for ensuring Contracting Authorities drainage systems are maintained at optimum condition and in accordance with manufacturer's instructions, installer recommendations, Water Authority Standards , recommended codes of practice and all relevant statutory obligations. Contractors will be expected to provide drainage services to both standard/domestic building drainage and commercial waste. The framework will cover the following drainage works which may be enhanced or refined by Contracting Authorities under their call off process. • Reactive service for drain unblocking and jetting • Improving and upgrading drainage systems • Planned maintenance • Soil stack and waste pipe unblocking • CCTV drain surveys and reports • Drain repairs including patch repair • Pipe re-rounding • Root cutting • Drain re-lining • Cesspit and Septic Tank emptying, cleaning, unblocking and repairing • Interceptor inspections and waste removal • Grease trap emptying and cleaning • Renew and rebed manhole covers and slabs • Drain and Mnahole inspection and testing • Gutter cleaning and clearance • Any additional tasks needed in association with the above works Additional information: This framework has been procured by Efficiency East Midlands (EEM Ltd) on behalf of our membership and the other organisations described below as being authorised users. The following contracting authorities will be entitled to agree and award contract under this framework agreement: - Any member of EEM which for the avoidance of doubt currently includes 3 partner consortia: Westworks, Advantage South West and South East Consortium. A full list of current EEM members is available at [eem.org.uk](https://www.eem.org.uk) - Any future member of EEM or our partner consortia and in all cases being an organisation which has applied to join EEM or our partner consortia in accordance with the applicable constitutional documents; - An EEM participant being an organisation which is neither a current or EEM member (as defined at 1 above) nor a future member of EEM (as defined at 2 above) based within England and Wales which owns and/or maintains/manages housing stock in 1 or more geographic area in which it operates and/or is an NHS Trust (which includes Acute Trusts, Care Service Trusts and Ambulance Trusts) or organisation, police authority, fire authority, ambulance trust, universities higher education, further education college, school academy or other public sector organisation.
