As a part of this service, there is an ongoing requirement to improve leisure services and secure investment in existing facilities throughout the term. The Council has funded an extensive programme of refurbishment of the swimming pool in recent months. In addition, the Council is looking for capital investment from the operator into the refurbishment of the synthetic pitch, as part of our recently published Playing Pitch Strategy (July 2020).
