The current unprecedented situation the UK is facing relating to the Covid-19 virus means that urgent responses are required in order to be able to react accordingly. Hampshire County Council will be setting up a designated area at Southampton Airport for a temporary Mortuary. Due to the rapid spread of the Covid 19 virus, this facility will need to be operational within a couple of days, meaning a competitive procurement procedure is not feasible to be undertaken.
