The aim is to describe vessel activity within the general infrastructure siting zone\*, determine areas of greater or lower risk and to make recommendations for the siting of marine infrastructure in relation to the risk from vessels and other mitigation measures which could be applied. A quantitative risk assessment of the risk of incidents with subtidal infrastructure sites is required.
