The objectives of this research are: - To establish a prevalence rate of individuals in the UK population in receipt of taxable, non-PAYE income where the activities and payment are facilitated by an intermediary; ii. To establish a prevalence rate of individuals in the following subgroups: - Individuals providing services through online platforms; - Individuals trading through online marketplaces; - Individuals sharing tangible assets using online and offline platforms, including those renting property as a UK-based landlord. iii.
