External capacity and expertise are sought to quantify levels of micro-plastic contamination on the bed of a representative river within Greater Manchester. This includes a particular focus on the stretches immediately up and downstream of potential inputs so that the project partners and others can better understand, and potentially begin to manage, micro-plastic contamination.
