The annual total value is estimated to be in the region of £4.85m per annum. This figure is split broadly as follows; £3.3m for responsive repairs, void property and major works; £1.4m for 3 star gas servicing and maintenance £145k for electrical testing and remedial works In terms of the volumes of responsive repairs, in 2018/19 22144 orders were raised. Cobalt has 5934 properties located in Liverpool post Codes L9, L10, L11 and L13. Cobalt wishes to establish a long term working relationship with incoming contractors which will be reflected in the duration of the contract. It is our intention to complete this exercise and have in place the new contracts by the 1st November 2020. As part of this procurement process Cobalt is facilitating a "meet the buyer event" where Cobalt would like to meet with a range of potential partners in order to inform and finalise our official tender process and strategy. The purpose is to test the market rather than second guess it, so to achieve the best outcome for Cobalt and our potential partners. The purpose of this document is to allow potential contractors to consider some of the key issues before meeting with us so we make best use of the time.
