The MCA is the largest operator of Government aviation outside of the MoD since becoming the sole operator of the UK Search and Rescue Helicopter Service (UKSARH) in 2015. In addition, the MCA operates a pan-government aerial surveillance (ASV) capability. The UKSARH contract is due to cease operation between 2024 and 2026, with the ASV contract expiring in 2024. To provide a better understanding of the MCA's ambitions for the second-generation aviation search and rescue programme (UKSAR2G), we would like to invite industry to participate in an online engagement event in early May. If you are interested in participating please email by Friday 1st May with your contact information. Details of the engagement event including the date, time and how to join, will be circulated w/c 4th May. Further information on the programme can be found on the UKSAR2G website. ## CPV classification Search and rescue helicopters Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/3563738e-6bc8-4523-93b9-665203e1d28d) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
