The technology offers cost saving opportunities for the University through maximising energy efficiency, self-testing emergency lighting and rooms occupancy profiling.It is envisioned that classrooms and central communal facilities will become the focus of smart lighting installations, but suitability will be evaluated on a project by project basis. The purpose of the tender is to identify a smart lighting manufacture(s) who will be used as our standard suppliers for the duration of the agreement.
