The Council wishes to understand how the service would operate, the functions it provides, reporting options, administrations processes, implementation process and guidance on what the indicative costs might be. The Council is considering a service that will allow us to connect our own provisioned SIP trunks (current supplier Gamma) and our Microsoft Teams tenant. The Session Border Control needs to be resilient with 99.5% availability. There will be 220 SIP trunks connected to the SBC for circa 4,500 users. The SBC must be certified by Microsoft for Direct Routing with Microsoft Teams: [docs.microsoft.com](https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/direct-routing-border-controllers) The purpose of this RFI is to help us determine whether such services already exist within the market and to understand the likely cost of such services.
