Ramsgate Harbour was originally built as a commercial enterprise and in the custom of the day, no consideration for edge protection was made. Over the last few decades the nature of the harbour business has changed from commercial to leisure, and becoming an attraction to the general public. This has exposed the public to the risk of falling into the harbour, and several incidents have been recorded to date. The contractor is to supply and install Kee Klamp Railing System No. 8 x 5mm, White (referred to as - the railings), in keeping with the railings already installed for phase one of this project. The Contract is anticipated to commence upon 2 of November 2020 for a duration of sixteen (16) weeks.
