The fund is a core pillar on the Government's commitment to increase funding in research and development by £4.7billion over 4 years to strengthen UK science and business. It will invest in the world-leading research base and highly innovative businesses to address the biggest industrial and societal challenges today. ### ISCF Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge The Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge (IDC) was announced in Summer 2019 and runs until 31st March 2024. The Industrial Decarbonisation Challenge is a £170 million investment of public money and an estimated further £261m of industry funding, bringing the total investment to £431million. This notice is to inform of an Engagement Day for potential bidders ahead of a tender being issued.
