The Gaskell Recreation Ground is a public open space which includes a cricket pitch, football pitch, bowling club and children's play area. There is a secondary school adjacent to the Recreation Ground. The path is to be approximately 540m long and 2m wide for the majority of its length (see specification), with a preferred top surface of soft pour. Further details are contained within the Invitation to Tender and Specification. The specified works may be started as soon as possible after the contract is awarded but must be completed and invoiced by 31st May 2020.
