The basis for the project is to develop nature based solutions to the problems facing our cities. Innovation and effective monitoring of the impacts of the green infrastructure interventions are key to the success of Urban GreenUP. The focus for the green wall is to improve habitat availability and connectivity for pollinators. The term pollinator wall has been used to describe the intervention. The pollinator wall in the BID demo area at St Johns will cover an area of approx. 300m2 and provide an impact in a major route through the city.
