The Hartington Unit consists of three adult acute inpatient wards and works are to be carried out in each ward. The works comprise a)upgrading of existing assisted bathrooms b) the creation of a new assisted bathroom and c) alterations to create a bariatric bedroom with en suite facilities The wards and Unit will remain fully operational 24/7 during the works programme and tenderers will have to provide evidence of experience of working in a mental health hospital. Working hours may be limited to between the hours of 9.00am - 5.00pm. No lone working of any type will be allowed. All works must be completed before 31 March 2019 and the successful contractor must submit a programme for approval.
