The Dynamic Purchasing System ("DPS") will provide a record of Suppliers considered capable of carrying out the required off take arrangements. WLWA is a statutory waste disposal authority (WDA) which was created in 1986. It is responsible for disposing of waste collected by the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames. About 1.7 million people live in this area, which covers 38,000 hectares. The Authority's vision is to be Leaders in treating waste as a valuable resource and is aiming to increase efficiency by building successful partnerships with its constituent boroughs and contractors. The SQ document is available in electronic form to DPS applicants. It is also intended that other London Local Authorities will be able to make use of the DPS.
