At the date of this specification this includes residents who apply to the authority under the homelessness legislation and residents wishing to transfer from Council managed and/or other socially rented accommodation to more suitable accommodation. There may also be occasions where residents approach the Council from housing tenures other than those mentioned, where provision of the service will be made available.
