The accommodation is to house the chemical, mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines and is a highly serviced building with some of the accommodation requiring a strict level of vibration control. The building must achieve BREEAM Excellent and an EPC Grade A rating. The University seeks to appoint a Principal Contractor for the works under a single stage procurement route. It is planned that the contractor will mobilise in March 2020 and complete the project by 8th July 2021. Intended tender method: The University is inviting formal Expressions Of Interest (EOI) in the project before running a Closed Tender. The EOI documentation is available on In-Tend (details below) and will include RIBA Stage 3 and programme information, and a copy of the University's Special Conditions under JCT form of contract.
