This will help us to gauge the level of interest and experience of organisations delivering Mediation and Disagreement resolution services and will help test out how best to purchase this service. In 2018, Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council jointly tendered for a Mediation and Disagreeement Resolution Serivce contract. What came to light during the tender process was the complexity of issues, families, services and systems trying to respond to these complex and emotionally charged issues. As a result, Cambridgeshire County Council did not award this contract and instead has taken time to improve its understanding of the systems, people, services and process that interact in the Eductional Health Care Plan (EHCP) world. Please note: this market testing exercise is not an invitation to tender or a request for formal expressions of interest. This document does not form any part of an invitation to tender. Cambridgeshire County Council is issuing this request for information only. Any information submitted to Cambridgeshire County Council will support market research only and will help make any potential procurement process more focused and efficient. No provider selection or provider preference is implied.
