Our research centres on people, and thus involves the use of face-to-face and telephone interviews, focus groups, workshops, and other speech-based data collection methods with a wide range of research participants, including practitioners, service users, and community members. Data collected via these methods includes both sensitive personal data as well as socially sensitive or stigmatised topics e.g. grief, domestic abuse, mental illness, homelessness.
