The social media voting will primarily take place on Twitter and employ trackable and verifiable voting hashtags or a suitable alternative voting mechanism. Within budget the unit would also like to explore voting on other social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram. The appointed agency will be responsible for Monitoring and counting social media for votes, creating daily reports throughout the voting period with tallies for each individual project that are adjudicated by the Electoral Reform Service. Ensuring voting is within the Electoral reform services rules and guidance, this includes a vetting process for votes so that only one vote is counted from each account in their respective categories.
