The scheme is widely known by the travelling public and is accepted on all local transport services across the current Merseyside boundary. As the scheme and available technology has evolved, there is a need to develop a revised scheme agreement that aligns to current practice, legislation and DfT multi operator ticketing guidance, but also to best practice across the industry.
