The University of Southampton currently utilises taxi services to carry students, patients, visitors and staff between sites and to other sites, for business, academic and health purposes. Journeys mainly, but not solely, occur during the daytime, throughout the year. The proposed Framework Agreement will be split into two Lots as set out below: - Lot 1 For the provision of Local Taxi services - with the majority of these journeys taking place within the vicinity of Southampton. This local taxi service would also need to provide for journeys across the southern region of the UK in rarer circumstances where the collection point or destination point would be in Southampton or the surrounding area. - Lot 2 For the provision of Airport Transfer services - with most journeys going to and from airports, in particular Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted although occasional journeys may be required to and from other airports including but not limited to Southampton and Bournemouth airports. The Airport Transfer service is expected to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. ## CPV classification Taxi services Source Contracts Finder (UK) [View official notice](https://www.contractsfinder.service.gov.uk/notice/b853b4b4-5e80-44bc-a5a8-e971f9142f50) Never miss a tender like this again Get AI summaries, deadline alerts and a bid pipeline for tenders matched to your business.
