It also involves general drainage and water engineering work, new construction work related to culverts, dams, flood defence structures and investigatory/CCTV/jetting/de-silting works. The Contractor will be required from time to time to commence work of an urgent nature, sometimes outside normal working hours, on receipt of a verbal instruction from the Engineer. The Contractor shall where practicable commence work within two hours of issue of an instruction.
