Hair and beauty salons provide a learning environment for students. However, the facilities are open to the public and offer professional standard treatments. Both salons are set out exactly like high street hair and beauty salons. The Buxton Campus is home to the Spa Therapy students and they have full access to The Devonshire Spa, a fully commercial spa facility, in order to develop their skills. The spa was named as Professional Beauty's Day Spa of the Year in 2016 and shortlisted for the same award for 2017.
